The Wii’s Controller Review

okay so truth be told the Nintendo Wii
would be nowhere for weren’t for this
really really innovative controller and
what it can do is it can sense motions
like tilt yaw and pitch really gives you
a full range of motion that can be
related accurately on screen so for
example a game that comes to mind is
warioware now in warrior where you
actually need to insert dentures into an
old lady’s mouth the way you do that is
you hold the controller like this and
literally insert right into her mouth
the dentures I’m talking about point
being that when it can do is it can
really accurately sense movement in
three-dimensional space what this does
which is I think just so awesome is it
allows you to really be immersed in the
experience one of my favorite examples
that you might remember from before with
Zelda so rather than doing the standard
button pressing thing you can literally
take the controller and just crack
things and swing it guys and it’s really
really really satisfied for example
another game that really uses as well as
tennis where you actually do the
swinging motions or bowling where you
literally have to believe if you look at
this controller carefully it might
actually remind you something and what
that is is if I tilt it sideways you
have the old intendo controller with
essentially the direction pad and what
used to be the a and B button what this
allows you to do is play games so you
can download off the Virtual Console the
same way you played them when you used
to play old Nintendo not only do you
have a very non-intimidating design it
looks like a controller that slips right
into your living room it has a trigger
which is really effective for shooting
its motion sensitive and it also doubles
as a standard old-school Nintendo
controller when you’re playing the
Virtual Console games
