we intended to do music because teaches

stage at our first gig and we just did
comedy for 40 about 45 minutes straight
comedy and then I realized if we if we
play a note it’ll ruin the whole the
atmosphere you know it would ruin the
whole thing and so we just said we said
thank you to the audience and and we
never played a note and then teach naive
joined up and a year later where we had
our first hit record up and smokes is a
classic film everybody knows that even
today apparently you only have three
pages of a script and everything else
was impressed up smoke we had quite a
bit of the script yeah I still got the
script at home I think we got about 55
pages yeah and and in the thing is it’s
shorthand because you were doing bits
from our lie back and so a lot of it we
just don’t write the title of of the bit
mean you know what it was usually the
way that goes the movies have a script
because then you give it to a director
dreko he gives a producer and then they
give to the actors name it’s an
interpretation all the way down the line
there’s no interpretation was we knew
exactly what it solicits like a little
blueprint for us quite a bit of the
movie was on the spot we’d be there
driving to the gig or driving home from
the gay guy made lunch having lunch we
say and we’d be talking to the other
actress and they tell some stories and
put it in and so then we tell the
director or producer Lou Adler at the
time okay keep the cameras here you know
we’re gonna continue on and yes and they
would look at us Nagle but ok cuz little
excel at where are you gonna get your
act together do you think you guys will
ever do another film are you loving the
live audiences another phone oh yeah
really folks we’re in the middle of may
be the fourth rewrite there’s a porno
film at this point you know yeah another
actors are donkeys but and it was well
that’s a first regrets one I don’t know
how is the prison rewrite then we never
got it down to two dogs and cats and so
if we were to follow you home after the
interview what would an evening be like
with you guys I don’t want to go out as
voice Iroquois here it’s like I’d be
answering the phone where are you oh
