hello this is Chris again with
watchmojo.com so today I’ve decided that
we’re going to be talking about the
Nintendo Wii now the Nintendo Wii he’s
been out for about a year now and it’s
made quite a splash burn stuff so what
I’m going to do today is talk about some
of the aspects with Nintendo week
primarily the hardware which is really
the main selling point for this system
there I’m going to talk about a couple
games that i think are absolute
must-haves for this system and then
we’re gonna play some wii because that’s
really the whole point of this thing
star of the show the nintendo wii u can
hold the nintendo wii either
horizontally or vertically if you look
at the nintendo wii’s front you have a
form now this flap basically is a slot
where you can put your SD cards you can
use the SD card to save games or you can
import pictures and videos from your
camera directly onto nintendo wii and
then you can view them on your
television another thing you’ll notice
here if you look at the way is that here
on the side we have two flaps now this
first flap is for memory cards from
hendo gamecube you just stick the memory
card right in that slot and boom you
have all your saves ported right over i
move this flap right over here those are
the 4 controller ports for the game to
you so really what Nintendo’s done is
they’ve gone out of the way to make sure
that backwards compatibility is it is
really a non-issue when using the
Nintendo Wii on the back of the Nintendo
Wii or two USB ports right now the USB
port can be used for using a hard wired
Ethernet connection to your wii now as
you might know the Nintendo Wii is
actually Wi-Fi enabled right out of the
box now the wii is a really small system
and to really get a sense of that scale
i’m gonna lug my trusty o xbox 360 here
for comparison as you can see here the
360 completely dwarfs the wii in terms
of size in terms of power and
performance this is more of a gamecube
1.5 than it is full on next-gen
build what that allows you to use have a
really small form factor awesome that
runs quietly cleanly low power
consumption low clock speed but yet
deliver pretty good performance to speak
frankly about the graphics and the
visuals of the we I mean if you’re
looking for that you know
high-definition experience you’re just
not going to get it here but guess what
it’s not really about that and that
really becomes apparent when you play
with the system more
