The Nine Planets – Saturn

Saturn is the sixth planet and the
second of the outermost planets like
Jupiter it is also a gas planet Saturn’s
the second largest in the solar system
and its equatorial diameter measures
over a hundred and twenty thousand
kilometers which makes it 9.44 nine
Earth’s what stands out about Saturn is
the system of rings surrounding the
planet while other planets have rent
none are so prominent the rims consists
mostly of ice particles with brought
debris and dust Saturn’s orbit around
the Sun takes over 10,000 days and it
has approximately fifty six moons that
number is not certain because many times
it is difficult to tell the difference
between a large ice particles in
Saturn’s rings and a small moon similar
to Jupiter Saturn’s interior has a rocky
core at the center surrounded by a
liquid metallic hydrogen layer and then
a molecular hydrogen layer like the
other gas planet Saturn is an oblate
spheroid this means it is smaller around
the poles and bulges at the equator
Saturn’s equatorial diameter is in fact
ten percent larger than at polar
diameters this is due to the rapid speed
of rotation and the fact that it is
significantly liquid
