puppeteers who are bringing back this
magical form of expression can you give
us a little bit of history about puppet
making the whole history with
marionettes it all started a the 14th or
15th century in France they would tell
like biblical stories with puppets and
so the word marrying had actually cut it

for each of the body parts are and then
from there we just stow in and start
making each part exactly how its
measured on the paper and they start off

and we just shape them down and we just
go part by part like that what what why
me oh boy so you’ve created your own
company called Penn a dream theater
which creates puppet shows what does
penetra mean and why choose this company
about a year was a journey in itself to
figure the right name we initially
started with panacea Dream Theater and
then we realized that that names are
being used but we really like the idea
of heavy we were dream present in the
title and pen kind of comes from Peter
Pan again that magical element and also
pana meaning kind of panoramix
all-encompassing so then pana dream
theater kinda came to be whistling Dixie
you do this feeling sorry for yourself
routine at the start of every show now
come on fuck man I know you can do it
now go on get up get that’s it creating
the company was basically meant to be it
was written in the stars my partner
Christopher studied theatre and then he
created his own puppet company a while
back and then he studied dance and
choreography so he has got all those
elements and I myself has studied
English literature so I’m kind of a
writer at heart and I’m also jeweler so
I’ve got a lot of carving skills so with
all of these skills put together we kind
of really complement one another and
then we decided hey let’s start our own
public company and why did you choose
this medium to express yourself well you
know we’re both artists in any medium is
really any medium but at the end of the
day being able to write a play being
able to create the characters being able
to have those characters come to life
and create make them ourselves and then
perform with them it really encompasses
a lot of different kinds of visual arts
and performing arts and dance
choreography it’s really encompasses a
lot of different kinds of mediums so
it’s a really diverse and really
interesting and really fun I can do this
