these Italian sports cars and symbols of
both performance and wealth hi I’m
Rebecca Brayton and welcome to
watchmojo.com and today we’ll be
learning more about Lamborghini why
don’t we start by having you tell us a
bit about the history of Lamborghini mr.
Lamborghini was a tractor builder but he
also had the passion for cars you know
so at some point he went to see Ferrari
and he kind of told him that you should
build this car kind of differently
Ferrari didn’t really like that you know
so that’s where you ended up building
his own sport car I have to say most of
them because right now this one here is
a two-wheel drive but all the others
they’re all wheel drive who would you
say is a typical Lamborghini driver you
got the money why don’t you get yourself
a Lamborghini I have to tell you that
most of the clientele are not there to
beat the track record with those cars
it’s an old dream to own one so once
they do very little will push or use
those car to the limit except mr. Balboa
this is a Balboa edition that we just
received mr. Balboa was the test driver
for Lamborghini for the last 40 years
and Lamborghini were test driving their
car on the public road so if you were
going to go around the manufacturer
often you would be passed by a
Lamborghini that was going like 300
kilometers an hour because even the
police didn’t bother because they knew
it was the test driver
what have been some of the most popular
models of Lamborghini over the years the
Countach was very popular tonight on at
Lamborghini at the LM which was a 4×4
big like a Hummer Lambo engine and it
that was built mostly for the Sheik of
Arabia cuz they had the money to buy
number Guinea but they didn’t have the
road to use it you mentioned the
Countach what made it so iconic the
Countach door the Lambo door you know
and the fact that was very very little
production so they produce a lot more
poster than that produce Lamborghini
thank you very much
