The Galilee Region of Israel

checking out the Galilee region of
Israel Galilee is a large region found
in northern Israel it is comprised of
several cities and is a popular tourist
area for various reasons its connection
to biblical history being the home of
Jesus for much of his life is one
important factor the region also boasts
stunning natural beauty with vibrant
flowers growing wild extensive green
grass lands and waterfalls dotting the
landscape Nazareth is one city found in
the Galilee region it is the north
district of Israel’s largest city and is
found in the south of the Lebanon
mountains it is known to many as Jesus’s
childhood home and as such is an
important city for Christian pilgrims
the third largest city in Israel is
Haifa and it is also found in the
Galilee region its most popular tourist
attraction is the Baha’i world centre
this world center encompasses the golden
shrine of the Bab as well as the
beautiful gardens
