she is one of the most popular
entertainers in Hollywood
due to her perky personality and heart
of gold welcome to watchmojo.com and
today we’re taking a look at the career
of oscar-winning actress Sandra Bullock
and as I’ve been telling you and look at
my career up to this moment yeah nothing
in my career has said she is gonna get
an Oscar winner born on July 26 1964 in
Arlington Virginia she spent the
majority of her childhood in Germany
studying singing and ballet as a
teenager she relocated to the United
States where she participated in theatre
productions and took up cheerleading
before dropping out of East University
to pursue a career as an actor in
Manhattan there she studied acting
before landing a part in the
made-for-television movie Bionic
showdown the Six Million Dollar Man and
the Bionic Woman following this she
co-starred in the 1992 romantic comedy
love potion number nine before making it
big opposite Sylvester Stallone as an
inexperienced cop in the 1993 futuristic
action flick demolition men he’s finally
matched his meet you really licked his
ass
that’s met his match and keep kick to
this making unprecedented headway in the
film industry
she’s skyrocketed to prominence opposite
Keanu Reeves as the frantic and
impromptu driver of a bus rigged to
explode in speed
next she earned a Golden Globe
nomination for her lovable persona in
the highly successful romantic comedy
while you were sleeping and starred in
the political thriller the net in 1997
Bullock agreed to star in the
universally panned sequel speed to
cruise control in exchange for a
spectacular 11 million dollar salary so
who’s ready to partay on the big boat
said to me amazingly the film’s terrible
reception and box office gross didn’t
slow down her blossoming career and she
soon returned to star in more satisfying
and successful projects among these was
the comedy Miss Congeniality in which
she played a quirky and unkempt
undercover FBI agent entering a beauty
pageant to stop a bomber from making a
bang at the annual event in fact the
part was so well received that she
secured a second Golden Globe nomination
and won the American Comedy Award for
favorite actress in a motion picture
oddly she later accepted the part in its
ill-fated sequel Miss Congeniality 2
armed and fabulous you know what what is
the difference big deal it is fixed I’m
in the top five congratulations to me in
between these projects she continued to
thrill female audiences with the
romantic hits two weeks notice and
divine secrets of the ya-ya sisterhood
bollocks subsequently switched gears and
stunned critics with her tremendous
supportive role in crash and the drama
the lake house little did she realize
that 2009 would be her most eventful
year in the media spotlight that year
she starred in the massively successful
romantic comedy the proposal and earned
her first Oscar Award for Best Actress
in The Blind Side ironically she had
turned down this role three times due to
her discomfort in portraying a devout
Christian more shockingly she had earned
a Razzie award for worst actress just
days earlier for her part in the
terrible comedy all about Steve which
caused her to be named both the best and
worst actress of the year you know what
I say in those big beautiful eyes
plica semilunaris secretions
sadly in 2010 she had the misfortune of
having to endure a personal crisis when
her husband Jesse James was discovered
to be having various Affairs ending her
marriage Sandra Bullock then avoided the
tabloid spotlight and began working on
the action comedy most wanted
