these services here are typically last
about eight to ten years with regular
usage obviously you can’t perform the
same amount of activities on natural
grass as you can with these new
generation artificial surfaces what
would you say are some complaints about
traditional artificial turf the one
complaint was the injuries I mean if you
look it up on the Internet in the NFL NC
double-a for city parks everywhere
people were getting injured and the
surface just wasn’t made for the real
needs of all these people how is it made
you have basically monofilament strands
of fibers that are tufted into a backing
and what replicates the dirt of natural
grasses are patented infill basically on
the bottom you start out with a layer of
sand and then up to 21 passes of a
mixture of silica sand and cryogenic
rubber and then on top there’s a
specially sized cryogenic rubber and
that’s basically what you see on the top
of the field here what about water
accumulation good drainage anyways is
due largely because of the base the base
material it’s under the field but
filters product as well has those extra
drainage channels on the backing where
it’s not coated so you’re looking at
extremely good drainage you know we’ve
had plenty of NFL teams NC double-a
teams you know with just a complete
downpour especially in places like
Seattle and an hour later the playing on
the field and it’s completely dry so
that’s one of the main benefits of field
trip now during my research I noticed
some growing health concerns about
artificial turf can you address some of
those if you look online all the
testings been done there’s been hundreds
of studies basically proving that all
the components of filter for safe
they’re safe for the environment safe
for humans safe for animals tours been
around for about 50 years now and we
have
had one reported case of anyone becoming
sick because of contact with any one of
our components our products are one
hundred percent recyclable they’re one
hundred percent lead-free and make
positive contributions to the
environment that’s why you’re seeing a
lot of municipalities jump on board as
well not only sports teams thank you
