watchmojo.com and today we will explore
the comic book origin of Bigby wolf as
with most comic book characters they’re

unfolded in 2002 s fables number one and
2003 s fable 16 which was expanded upon
in 2006 is a thousand and one nights of
snowfall Bigby wolf was first introduced
in the first issue of fables as the
trench-coated sheriff a fable town a
community of former fairy tale
characters now living in New York City
the fable town refugees had fled their
places of birth when a mysterious and
all-powerful adversary had begun waging
war on them capturing their lands and
mercilessly killing all in its path you
think my job is easy you try keeping a
bunch of fables from killing each other
how do you think this all works as the
name Bigby wolf implies the sheriff was
in fact the big bad wolf who had once
upon a time terrorized the Three Little
Pigs and Little Red Riding Hood
like other fairy tale creatures in fable
town he had adopted a human appearance
but was capable of shedding it when the
occasion demanded they fear you more
