so i’m here with Barry O’Connell the
director of The Rocky Horror Show bear
even you can see self and what you do
I’m Barry O’Connell I am producing the
show and I’m directing the show and I’m
also playing the part of Franken for the
best part now in your opinion what is
why is there such a cult following for
this for this show there’s two reasons
because there’s two cult followings to
the show there’s a cult following of the
more famous Rocky Horror Picture Show
which is the audience participation with
the film that everybody let’s do how do
we need rest up and they act out all the
parts and they throw the toast and I
like Nesta so there’s that cult
following and then there’s the other
cult following of the actual live show
of the Rocky Horror Show Live which is
just a following of people that love the
musical I love the actual songs in the
same way it’s presented and the
variations on the theme that go with the
rocky horror show there’s never two
rocky horror shows that are ever alike
it’s got wonderful songs it’s got larger
than life colorful characters it’s got
some very very funny parts and it’s got
this little bit extra to it which allows
an individual to sort of fantasize a bit
more about their life and that’s so when
you leave the show you have this
lingering feeling about while I should
be more wild I should have more
I think once you have those ingredients
in place a cult is more than I can count
on
