today what we’re doing is we’re
continuing our series on what I think
are the five most influential companies
in the gaming industry today and
undoubtably one of the companies that
must be brought to bear is the
incredible rock star rock stars been
making games since 1999 and has just
blown up to the point where they have
offices all over the world rock star is
most noted for their development of the
Grand Theft Auto series which if
anything else has caused a huge amount
of controversy and change in the gaming
industry as a whole one of the first
games was actually Oni and only along
with their midnight club racing series
were in the launch lineup of the
original PlayStation 2 system and
actually received a lot of critical
acclaim at the time for being sort of
really well-defined entries into the
genre since then they went on to make a
grand theft auto one grand theft auto
two and the game that gave them the most
success at that point was grand theft
auto 3
