he can fight he can act and he’s here to
tell us about it all
hi I’m Veronica watchmojo.com and today
we’re speaking with Robert Wyatt of Guy
Ritchie Sherlock Holmes now you are a
multi-talented man you’re an actor and
an athlete how did you get involved in
both well I started wrestling that was
my dream being a being a wrestler
tremendous power the part of Bergen
bodyslams
from there really it gave me a lot of
opportunities and stuff just opened
doors for other venues but I was never
really intended to be in the movies
really so when the opportunity came they
were filming three hundred two years ago
and they were looking for somebody to
play a role the monster role so they
need a big guy who can do his own stunts
now 300 was great were happy to do it
but I thought that was one-time only
thing the year after that the call to do
it Sherlock Holmes interested aford one
two with Antonio Banderas now your most
recent project is Guy Ritchie’s Sherlock
Holmes where you play dredger Keane
tells more about your character well
he’s not a very nice man she he’s the
wall in a way what Sherlock Holmes try
to get through to get to the my boss
Lord Blackwood played by Mark Shawn and
a lot of big fat secrets with him and
what a lot of comedy mostly but I get
passed around he gets tossed around
funny stuff
[Music]
talking about the fight scenes you
accidentally punched Robert Downey jr.
while you guys are filming yeah what a
way to make an impression that wasn’t
felt pretty bad when it happened the one
I heard in the body especially though
Barbra darling I only had a few stitches
in his mouth but you know when it’s all
over the blood so we finished our scene
every school and then the next day he
gave me a natural gift and bottle of
champagne a nice bottle not a dollar
store bought a family meal from Robert
Downey you get the best very nice get
cold search after that in a way do you
think it’s a challenge for a director to
take on a popular literary figure and
bring them to the big screen I think if
it’s a new twist oh it’s a very
different show at home sort of an action
hero but in the same time it keeps the
spirit of the books – Robert Downey just
an amazing job portraying the character
that would let sings with any social you
know it gets bored when he’s not on the
case so it’s fascinating to watch your
often cast as the bad guy do you ever
want to play the good guy
well it’s boring it’s more fun kind of
it but it’s totally opposite of Who I am
so it’s fun they can get away with odd
stuff from now I think one of the
reasons that your cast as the fat guy
often is because of your size just to
show everyone how tall your idea us end
up and we’ll do it back to back like
that I can’t get her picture
my gang that’s the end of the news Thank
You joy the finish
