Review of Xbox 360 – Xbox Live Arcade

now xbox live arcade is actually one of
the sleeper successes of the xbox 360
xbox live arcade basically allows you to
download various arcade games from the
xbox live marketplace now the
interesting thing about these games is
that they’re pretty small I mean these
are a for example they’ve just recently
released doom here for the xbox live
marketplace and essentially it’s just a
port of the old original PC version of
doom but one of the incredible things
about these games is that they basically
sort of reinvigorate the spirit of what
it meant to play games now though you do
have your flashy you know high-end
graphically intensive games it’s nice to
sort of have a throwback to these older
games and sort of be reminded of of why
you got into gaming in the first place
and a lot of all of these games have
been up converted to run in high
definition so though you might think
it’s overkill to have the original doom
running in HD it is pretty nice and yeah
this is just one of those sleeper hits
that they’ve had here
