hi I’m Veronica with watchmojo.com and
today professional skateboarder Sean
Malto tells us why skateboarding is not
just a sport it’s also a lifestyle we’re
just inside before and we saw just a
whole bunch of Ages different types of
people what’s the atmosphere like in a
skate park skateboarding is kind of like
who you are I guess so there’s a lot of
different styles and age ranges you know
I’ve seen 40 year old guys you know just
skating around and I think that’s
awesome hopefully one day on there you
know when you see little kids just
starting so it’s cool it’s the whole
range of people and it’s just offer the
love skateboarding I guess do you think
skateboarding’s this sport or more of an
exhibition there are some sport things
about it like gathers contest there’s
this there’s that but personally I think
it’s kind of more of a lifestyle even
when I’m not skating we still talk about
skating it’s just kind of a part of you
I guess and the kievan driving a car and
even like seeing like benches or
whatever you’re always thinking about
like skating
so do you want to see it in the Olympics
ever or do you think that would change
the whole lifestyle and culture of it
ask for me nothing’s gonna change this
for me now I’ve been doing it for so
long and I plan to do it for as long as
I can like a lot of people are kind of
like skeptical on how that’s gonna be
but if it’s in there like at least it’s
growing at least it’s doing something
people are recognized that it’s like an
awesome thing I wouldn’t be mad at it
now if someone were to pick up a
skateboard for the first time what
advice do you have for them I mean just
like with anything playing the guitar
whatever you want it’s gonna be hard at
first it’s definitely really frustrating
even I mean it’s frustrating now
sometimes you know just one of those
things that you’re gonna fall like it’s
not gonna happen as fast as you want it
to but so long as just stick with it you
know it turns into something awesome
well thank you very much is great having
you Sean yeah you’re welcome anytime
