shootout between the pixel 3xl from
Google the iPhone 10’s max from Apple
and the galaxy note 9 from Samsung when
you compare the specs and overall
experience between all three does one
reigned supreme

compare these three top-of-the-line
smartphones one from Apple one from
Google and one from Samsung and look at
a few key criteria to see how they fare

right let’s start off with screen size
and quality iPhone 10’s max has the
largest screen out of the three with its
six and a half inch display galaxy note
9 comes in at six point four inches and
the pixel three XL at six point three
inches so very similar and all three
OLED screens are gorgeous but pixel
three XL wins in the resolution
Department with its 523 pixels per inch
density and with the iPhone 10’s max
being the lowest at 458 PPI but the
pixel 3 XL has that giant notch I mean
it’s big like Samsung wrote when it
trolled them on social media you could
land a plane on it iPhone 10’s max has
one too but not as big pixel and Samsung
have that cool always-on display as well
all three screens are a stunner though
so it is a three-way tie for this first
category on a related note I do like
Google’s pixel stand so you can turn the
pixel 3xl into a smart speaker with the
display showing your personal assistant
answers album art and more number 2
performance on paper the phones offer
comparable speed and performance Samsung
rocks as Snapdragon 845 processor and 8
gigs of ram or system memory Google
pixel three excel has the same
Snapdragon chip both only four gigs of
ram and Apple has its own a 12 Bionic
chip with 4 gigs of RAM but Apple and
Google get props for optimizing their
phones for these chips and in the end I
phone 10s max does pull ahead here in a
few different speed and
formants tests both in benchmarks and
real-world use the winner here for pure
speed iphone in 2018 all three companies
Apple Samsung and Google didn’t do too
much to improve on last year’s already
impressive cameras but they did each add
some additional software tricks behind
the scenes to optimize performance all
three flagship phones have a 12
megapixel rear camera with the iPhone
10’s Macs and Galaxy Note 9 each
offering both a wide-angle and telephoto
camera with dual optical image
stabilization and two times optical zoom
the pixel 3xl is still only a single
lens camera on the back but don’t
discount it as google has upped its game
in many departments including an
impressive portrait mode with a bulk anq
background blur effect super resume
nitesite for better low-light
performance and other features they’re
unlocking over time like it’s smart
burst mode with a eye that picks your
best photo for you all three cameras can
shoot 4k for front-facing camps are all
impressive but Google edges out ahead
with its extra camera for group selfie
mode Apple however uses its true depth
front camera for an emoji while Samsung
has it so so AR emoji feature winner for
the best photo phone it’s tough I mean
look at these photos taken with each of
these three phones and it is hard to
pick a standout but when push comes to
shove when looking at portraits
landscapes night shots macro photography
and video quality I’m declaring the note
9 as the winner in the photography
department narrowly beating out the
iPhone 10’s Maxx and Google pixel three
but it’s as close as it gets
number four storage Google offers you
just 64 gigs to start but there’s also a
hundred and twenty eight gig model
Samsung’s Galaxy Note 9 starts at 128
gigs but there’s a 512 giggle
own 10s maxes available in 64 256 and
512 gigs of storage
therefore the pixel 3 XL is the only one
maxed out in 128
Plus Apple and Google don’t let you
expand the storage like Samsung does
with its micro SD card but Google does
give you unlimited photo storage still
across the board the clear winner here
is samsung number 5 battery life alright
as you know the size of
phones battery isn’t the whole story as
the processor plays a role how efficient
is the phone software at power
management and what you’re doing on the
device will all impact performance all
about being said the pixel 3xl has a 30
for 30 milliamp battery the note 9 has a
four thousand milliamp battery and while
Apple doesn’t specify the milliamp hours
it’s estimated to be at about 3200 the
smallest out of the three phones Apple
claims the 10s max lasts about 90
minutes longer than the iPhone 10 in
various battery tests posted online
galaxy note 9 is the true workhorse not
just because they have the largest
battery but in most of the tests it’s
the winner but in one of the tests you
can read online the iPhone 10’s max does
squeak by the note 9 with 12 extra
minutes of use all phones offer wireless
charging for battery performance it’s a
tie between Samsung and Apple sorry
Google alright as for things like
operating system it boils down to
personal taste of course whether you
like I oh s or Android there are cases
to be made for each camp in other extras
all phones are waterproof to some degree
the Galaxy Note 9 has that integrated S
Pen a stylus which is now powered by
wireless bluetooth it gives you more
precision when interfacing with your
device hi Bixby show me the best Chinese
restaurants in the area
Samsung supports both Google assistant
and fix B pixel 3 has some cool google
assistant features built in as you’d
expect and Apple has Siri but you can
add Google assistant though it’s not
fully featured as Siri is baked into the
OS ok Siri how do you say thanks for

let’s wrap up with price vs. value the
pixel 3 Excel is the least expensive out
of the big phones but there isn’t as
much storage and battery life isn’t as
good for a little more cash you can get
a Galaxy Note 9 with a stylus longer
battery bigger screen and expandable
storage and then there’s the iPhone 10’s
max which is not cheap oh boy but it is
the fastest phone the best battery in
some tests and a graceful operating
system if you’re into Apple stuff so is
there one hands-down winner here No as
you can see each has their pros and cons
they’re differentiating features and
some drawbacks
