ladies I created the pillow fight league
as an idea in 2004 acp case and i
launched the league officially in 2006
you might have a discussion with a
friend of mine about how there’s no
straight-up fight sports for women so
then we were talking about what would it
be the pillow fight the you might just
think it’s two girls fighting no no no
no no no there’s a boss me I wrote the
rules to pillow fighting and I want them
followed my name is champagne Pai N
the rules are pretty simple the pillow
must be the point of contact you can
however like do any move as long as the
pillow is there
I give a count you know if I see
something being done like someone lifts
somebody up without a pillow I I count
them because if I get to three I will
disqualify them the three ways that you
can win a pillow fight if it’s hurting
they can’t breathe they can tap Oh or it
goes to three count I count them out
they’ve been pinned you know shoulders
are on the mat first three count then if
that doesn’t occur it goes to judges I
am the senior judge for the profile
league and we usually will roll into
guest judges or sometimes pick people
from the audience there are four
conditions to look for while judging
there is style
stamina fight control and eye of the
tiger which is sort of the look of
intensity and I tell anybody who comes
in and judges look those are your four
categories but you’ve weighed those out
anyway you feel in your vision in your
heart but for me I’m really big on the
eye of the tiger I like to see them go
in there and want it
somebody’s got to be me somebody’s got
to be the bad guy somebody’s got to be
the boss fight so hard I’ll make my
decision at the end of the night they
know the rules and I make sure they’re
enforced
I’ve had some turn around like stare
right through me like they’re gonna kill
me and I just sit there nice smile we’re
on our way we worked out all the kinks
and worked out all the stuff now it’s
just yeah it’s a lot of fun right now
