the palm tree posture is designed to
free energized and balanced hi I’m
Veronica watchmojo.com and today we’re
looking at different ways to listen to
our own body the nervous system is like
a battery it’s got a positive pole of
the battery and a negative pole of the
battery the idea with all the postures
but specifically the palm tree is how do
I take this spinal column where the
electricity passes and how do I engage
it either by compressing it or
lengthening it and then side bending it
rotating it so the first first thing you
need to have is the pelvis stabilized
because if I want to stretch something I
need to have a fixed point and another
one stretching if both are moving it
isn’t work so this is the earth it
connects us to the earth so I’m fixed
and from there I can do whatever I want
there’s so many things that we can work
in this posture just the shoulders for
example if there is any rigidity and
everybody does have rigidity in the
shoulders the postural show it to you
tension in the spinal column you’ll feel
it right away as you start coming down
into it something that’s interesting
also is there’s a diaphragm so the
diaphragm is the muscle that makes you
breathe and it’s attached more or less
here the lungs are resting on the
diaphragm and the heart is also resting
on the diaphragm so a lot of times
there’s a lot of tension in that fried
and it affects the chest and affects the
heart of this excellent so the posture
when you start to know how to do it you
want to stabilize the lower spinal
column and take the rib cage and gently
lengthen it so in this way the pillars
of the diaphragm which are attached to
l2 l3 for example get to be lengthened
and as you start consciously breathing
deeply you start expanding the thoracic
cage consciously to create an opening
and then once you really sensitive you
can actually feel the lungs and bag
that’s over the lungs you can start
literally being your own osteo
and that’s the whole idea with osceola
how do i get to manipulate every single
part of my body consciously
