Makeup Tips for Nurses

hi I’m Lisa sim and this is
watchmojo.com and today we are
celebrating nurses because national are
on day or nurses day is coming up at the
beginning of May and there’s nothing
better than showing your best face
showing that you’re healthy and
competent what’s the longest shift that
you’ve ever had 12 to 16 horas okay 16
hours you better make sure that your
makeups on point so it doesn’t melt off
during that long shift so the foundation
is exactly that it is your face it’s
really the cornerstone for everything
else that you do so even if you just
apply this sometimes it’s just enough to
get you by in the day grind it and
lightly bus it all around go right
across the ice concentrate the color on
the inside corner neutralize the tones
of the island that way have a nice even
case for everything else next thing I’m
gonna recommend is a little bit of
bronzer something that’s gonna contour
shade give you a little bit of color
make you look like you’ve seen the light
of day this one’s one of my favorites
from our bond and what I like about it
and there’s no parabens there’s no FPC
colorants there’s no perfumes
it’s very chemical free okay we’re gonna
start from the top down starting at the
eyebrows go in lightly stipple small
overlapping strokes fill in the top line
of the eyebrow
take an old mascara wand and brush it
through okay to make things really easy
we just take one shadow we’re gonna take
candlelight we have the chisel deluxe
oval fluff it’s just a really large
dense brush start in the inside corner
up to the brow and fill in everything
this is just gonna like make the eye pop
make it look way more open inside corner
all along the lower lid blend upwards
into the arch take a little bit more and
now go back and concentrate the color on
the lower inner lid concentrate and push
up underneath the arch the whole idea is
to make us look more awake especially
when we’ve only had three hours sleep
use your finger just blend that all in
so the next thing to do is start
building up a lash line if we do more
attention to the upper eye less people
are going to be looking at our dark
circles so I’m going to use a little bit
of our bond Koko
and what I like about this one is that
there is no wood so I want you looking
down I’m going to lift up and I’m going
right underneath the lash line
it makes the lashline look thicker but
not lined as it would be normally on top
you might want to try something like a
liquid liner just because it’s really
really long-lasting it actually gives
the effect that you’re more made-up but
it’s really simple but it’s not gonna go
anywhere so this is the Arbonne liner
really it’s all in the brush that makes
a difference so with this one you don’t
need to try to make a line
you’re literally using the side of the
felt tip and if you’d lack the dexterity
you don’t actually have to try to draw a
line just press all right so the next
step is gonna be a little bit of lash
curling looking down always as close to
the root as possible and in just a
couple of spots if you have really long
eyelashes you may not want to curl in
three different spots so really just
like round the base middle that’s about
it the whole idea is that it’s opening
up the white of the eye it’s making the
eye look bigger again we’re just like
accentuating the effect that you
possibly could look more awake only put
stuff on the top don’t put anything on
the bottom you know the only thing I
would recommend is maybe like using eye
drops and a little bit of white eyeliner
on the inner lash line as well I’m using
the Arbonne triple action mascara what I
like about is thickening its lengthening
its conditioning taking care of your
eyelashes while you take care of others
okay so you finished the eyes it was
that easy and what I love about this is
that because we put candlelight on the
lower lid inside corner and we’ve done
their curling and we’ve done the mascara
the lashes project further out they look
that they’re actually longer because we
put a light color in back of it instead
of opposed to something darker
so this is a really cool little product
and I love that it’s actually gonna be
hydrating as well as called sheer glow
highlighter it’s also from our bond take
a little bit on the fingers so it’s
illuminating it’s moisturizing always a
little add a little bit on the inner
corner same place that you’d normally
put a little bit of concealer okay so
now we’re gonna use our bond coral lip
gloss it’s one of my favorite colors
it’s super fresh it’s a really natural
looking it looks really really healthy
because the whole idea here is that you
want to give the appearance of like
health and wellness you know that kind
of spirit you’re not a cocktail waitress
in Vegas all right clay this is it 5
minute makeup it’s just fresh and
healthy looking it’s great to start your
day whether you’re a nurse or not
because you’re not actually a nurse
anymore what is it you’re doing I have a
campaign to raise Filipino nurses to
become Lana the immigrants of Canada Oh
Canada kita I want to say thank you to
clay I’m Lisa sim and you’re watching
