Makeup Tips for A Blushing Bride

hi I’m Lisa sim for sim minerals and
you’re watching watchmojo.com and we’re
here with our lovely bride Alex who’s at
the W Hotel getting married as part of
their Wow Val package is awesome she
gets a manicure pedicure and makeup by
me so we’re starting with a mineral
based foundation with awesome about this
is that it looks completely natural it
stays on until you take it off the
longer it’s on the better-looking it
gets it still it reflects your natural
skin so you don’t look overly made-up
because you have such a beautiful skin
is just enough to like even things out
and give a beautiful glow you had this
little red mark up here is that it’s
birthmark okay so we’re gonna hide the
birthmark so the longer that we stay on
the area the more coverage you’re gonna
get out of it we’re going to get smaller
shadow brush will dip into it I’m going
to press it on there you go I’ll take
the same product same application just
working the under on inner corner we’re
gonna do a little cheer drop effect so
basically I’m going down and I’m going
back at the top of the cheekbone that’s
going to give a wonderful lift you want
to really stay away from anything that’s
really too sparkly to disco the whole
principle of doing wedding makeup is
that it looks natural and flawless and
youthful and fairly really pretty I
don’t really think that you’re looking
you know for the dragon lady look so we
actually gonna fill the entire lid with
the foundation as well that way it acts
as a wonderful primer it evens
everything out adds a little bit of
brightness before you add on any other
color what will move into now is just a
little bit of blush okay so you should
be a blushing bride one of my favorite
colors yet again is called the
Terracotta on a blush brush little smile
cuz you’re happy because you’re gonna be
a mrs. now and just hit the apples of
the cheeks so now we’re going to talk
about eyes so we’re going to start with
a base shade candlelight it’s just like
a off-white using that all over the lid
acts scenting underneath the arch of the
brow gives extra lift makes everything
look like higher and brighter what’s
nice is that it’s a mad okay it’s
nothing that’s too shiny afterwards
we’re gonna go into just a really simple
tote I know it sounds really boring but
it’s actually
really really pretty so working it into
the outer corner and then halfway we
don’t need to do like big smoky eyes for
weddings natural pretty is like the
theme here you can kind of feel that I’m
not really sweeping the brush across I’m
doing little circles that way i’m
applying and blending it at the same
time we’re going to use the same taupe
and with a small angle brush and reg you
use that to accentuate the brows so even
though you have like a medium brown hair
color always take a shade lighter than
your actual hair color that way you
don’t end up with heavy brows this is a
small angle brush it’s a stable hair
it’s excellent for both browse and
lining start on the inside corner fill
in the areas where you see the skin I’m
doing very short over lapping strokes
now generally what happens is we have
more hair on the inner corner of the eye
and less as we get to the arch and the
tail so that’s when we can go into a
little bit of a darker brown just to
work on the tail of the brow what we’re
going to do is reinforce the lash line
and we’re gonna make it look a little
bit stronger we can maybe you actually
do a little bit more about the Audrey
Hepburn because everybody really likes
to look like at my tree Hepburn I think
so we’ll do a little bit of black liner
but the way we’re going to do it is
powder mixed with pencil okay that way
get a like a really strong saturation of
color but something that’s going to be
long lasting as well same brush little
angle a little bit of onyx shadow it’s
virtually impossible sometimes I do a
full line so it’s just overlapping
strokes again and I’m just extending a
little bit further out from the ISO that
elongates the eye gives it more of a cat
eye look now what we do is we go back
over it with a black pencil and then
we’re going to seal it in using the same
black shadow afterwards and now to seal
it in and also to fill some of the
little gaps that happen when you go back
to the brush it kind of like smudges
everything back together and seals it in
so there’s no doubling it doesn’t run as
much so if you’re gonna do your own
natural lashes we’re going to curl them
a couple of coats of mascara maybe even
a little bit of waterproof depending on
how like we feeI you get just remember
when you’re doing lashes once you apply
the mascara you should brush through to
separate and to remove any clumps
because believe it or not when it comes
to wedding pictures the camera really
does see everything we really have to
like do
special attention to the pucker okay
because there’s going to be a lot of
that going on all night so what I
recommend is just going back with the
brush that you applied your foundation
we’re going to neutralize the color in
the lip that way the lip color that we
put on afterwards is going to be totally
true to like what you see at the tube
we’re going to start with a pencil i’m
using the sim minerals sandy pink we’re
literally going to fill in the entire
lip that way it doesn’t look like ring
around the lip this is how you create a
really long-lasting lip color now we’re
ready to put the lip color on top I’m
going with something that’s a little bit
more of a lip polish meaning that it has
the full color of a lipstick but it has
the glossiness of a lip gloss we’ll take
a different gloss that has a little bit
more of a sparkle to it minimal amount
and you’ll apply this just to the center
the lip and it will create the
impression of volume alright so this is
our beautiful Alex or w bride ready to
get married I’m Lisa soon for some
minerals for w hotel and you’ve been
