the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle games
were first debuted in the arcade now
tangent Ninja Turtles the arcade game
was a sort of four player frenetic crazy
action game and what khana me did is
with their ultra division brought that
over to the NES first and what they did
is they reiterated it into a sort of one
player action-adventure game now this
game was devilishly difficult but at the
same time was loved by many many people
from there they went on to teenage
mutant turtles to the arcade game back
for the old Nintendo and he ain’t been
Ninja Turtles two is really the first
arcade release poured it over to the NES
now this game was actually pretty
innovative for its time because it
really had these huge characters moving
around and controlling well and really
sort of got that multiplayer sort of
arcade feel in there for the first time
truly on it on a home console and what
it did is it sort of introduced a lot of
NES players at that point so not only
their favorite characters from the
television series but really it played
into the dynamic of sort of these side
you know fighting side by side fighting
ninjas and really gave you that feeling
while you’re playing the game with your
friends now from their economy went on
with their successful franchise to the
Super Nintendo series with this game
teenage mutant ninja turtles turtles in
time now turtles in time feature the
four you know Ninja Turtles and doing
what they do best basically kicking butt
this is actually the first game i ever
rented for the super nintendo
entertainment system now Teenage Mutant
Ninja Turtles was pretty much more the
same but as you can see here for one of
those early games looked pretty darn
nice and really sort of follow the whole
Ninja Turtles mythology pretty nicely
now this was one of the other games to
that gave an example of con any sort of
technical prowess where you did have a
lot of levels that had you sort of all
these hovering boards going through
these incredibly you know nicely
detailed mode 7 environments and as you
can see here the action is just
incredible it really just had one of
those really frenetic arcade feelings
and and you really didn’t mind spending
a rainy you know saturday afternoon in
the house playing this game
