collaborations so let’s talk a bit about
how that that collaboration first got
off the ground I met Gotye through
Francois T tears it was a producer that
I actually you know wanted to work with
because of what I’d heard him do with
with Gotye and we met over coffee and
total fangirl and while he just run me
up a couple of years after we met and
said you know I’ve got the song and it’s
wondering if you give it a go my second
verse yeah

did you ever expect it to get as big as
it did and I’m think I could have seen
that coming you know I don’t think
anyone could have really I definitely
knew it was a great song I’ve been a big
fan of his so I was already you know
totally vouching for it but in terms of
sitting up there with Lady Gaga and
Justin Bieber I mean I would have
laughed at something if someone had told
me that it’s really cool you know I
think he’s really paving the way for
other artists to now come and present
songs they’re a slightly non formulae
accor a little bit different into this
at a mainstream charts it’s exciting how
much time have you had to kind of see
some of the the covers like the glee
yeah somebody just can’t keep up with
them you know especially being on tour
it’s so hard to go and click on everyone
but every now and then I will check in
and I’ll see something and it’s just
amazing and it is really flattering that
people go to so much effort to kind of
recreate this song it obviously was
really connecting with people
you also did a song with mark foster
from foster people and a track yeah yeah
tell us about that one that was really
fun
that was done all over laptops actually
we had one day in the studio mean mark
but apart from that I mean I was in
Germany at the time hey trech was in
Paris and so we just had to you know
send our vocal takes back and forth you
like this yeah that’s cool try this try
that and it was actually really
refreshing to do something so
spontaneous
is there anyone you know on your wish
list to collaborate with so many of the
people that have been on my wish list
are now looking like possibilities you
know already some of the collaborations
that are beginning to take place for the
second album of people I’ve dreamed of
working with
