Israeli Palestinian Conflict – Part 1

can you tell us about your story
specifically and how’s the consequence
you got involved with parents or goal
families forum I get involved in parent
circle families forum after the killing
of my brother Yusuf he was killed in two
thousand their living inning of the
second intifada then my mother as one
who used to be very active in politics
she was also in the prison for five
years I was in a prison for four years
so I’m coming from a political family so
she invited very very feminist our home
after eight months of the killing of my
brother and we joined the organization I
actually joined the parent circle a year
after my son was killed I was really
looking for something that would would
allow me to function to make a
difference to prevent other families
from experiencing this and I went to a
seminar and I recognized the Palestinian
mothers they had the same pain as I did
and that was the beginning of a sort of
journey of trust I wasn’t exactly sure I
knew I wanted to do something but then
after I made these mothers and after I
saw that I could really make a
difference in that organization I closed
my office that I had before and i joined
the parent circle can you tell us a
little bit about rural visions
experience supporting the family circles
forum and why you brought Ali and Robbie
on board with you first of all let me
say that Robbie and Ally and all the
members of the parent circle in their
own right are inspirational people in
this day and age when you hear in the
news about the conflict in the West Bank
and Gaza and Israel you all you hear
about is a negative this is an example
that positive happens and that there are
that the people of experienced the worst
have shown that it can happen that they
can reconcile that they can work
together together for an improved
society there that situation is not
destined those two peoples aren’t
destined
to continue fighting one another
endlessly they just need a little help
from the international community to
support them and to become alongside
them as friends
