James Gunn in high demand after
guardians of the galaxy 3 firing Disney
may have fired James Gunn for a number
of crude and disturbing tweets but a few
little birdies in Hollywood have been
saying that the director is in high
demand for a number of major movie
production you know they told me you
people were conceited douchebags but
that isn’t true at all according to The
Hollywood Reporter sources claim that a
number of big-time Hollywood producers
are eyeing Gunn to direct their next
projects however contractual obligations
seem to prevent gun from putting pen to
paper while gun has been fired by Disney
he is still under contract with the
company which means he can’t discuss any
other offers or explore new
opportunities until Disney either
release him or give him another job
which seems very unlikely the interest
in the director does make sense as fans
and celebrities alike have been jumping
to his defense like the Guardians cast
Summa Blair and Kurt Russell but it’s
never personal it’s never about ego it’s
never about which one of us is right
it’s always about making this movie the
fullest experience for the audience that
could possibly be number 2 Emma Stone
and Jonah Hill star in first maniac
trailer this is definitely one of
Netflix’s biggest releases of the year
and stupid dentists insensitive become a
true detective season 1 director Carrie
Joji Fukunaga has teamed up with Oscar
winner Emma Stone and Oscar nominee
Jonah Hill for what is one of the most
anticipated television events
of the year and it finally has a
full-length trailer maniac follow stone
inhales Annie Landsberg and Owen Milgram
to strangers dealing with emotional and
mental turmoil in a last-ditch effort to
find happiness they enroll in a
mysterious drug trial run by Justin
Thoreau’s dr. mantle ray which is said
to rid them of all their problems how
many of your subjects have ended up
catatonic zero the trailer showcases a
very futuristic and colorful lab where
the subjects seem to take on fictional
characters that play out a number of
different fantasies while wholly
original the trailer does give off vibes
of FX’s Legion and Michelle Gondry’s
Eternal Sunshine of the spotless mind
before we get to our final entry here
the KKK is planning an attack how do you
propose to make this investigation will
establish contact over the phone
we’ll need a white officer to play me
when they meet face to face before the
white race Ron oh hell no so there
becomes a combined Ron stall work can
you do that with the right white man we
can do anything
number one the Oscars introduced a new
category for outstanding popular film
and the Oscar goes to if you thought the
Academy of Motion Picture Arts and
Sciences were just a bunch of
out-of-touch film scholars this next bit
of news just may change your opinion of
them the Academy made a giant move
announcing that several changes were
being made to the award show the biggest
among them the addition of a new
category outstanding popular film I’m
just saying that to have been nominated
would have been nice it’s just it’s very
political you have to take out ass okay
the move is a shocking one from the
Academy who have always prioritized
films with artistic merit over ones that
simply entertained but it’s also a move
that was needed to boost viewership the
show’s ratings have dipped in recent
years with 2018 s installment being the
least watched to date while some
moviegoers think it’s about time the
Oscars considered popular blockbuster
films others feel differently saying
that it’s mindless pandering that it
devalues the prestige of an Oscar and
opens the door for more random
categories in the future we’d like to
petition for a new category best Chris
the other changes include moving up the
air date of the show to February 9th and
shortening the runtime from four hours
to three
