using a mitts of time travel and
futuristic technologies the Terminator
series has proved incapable of producing
successful and relevant films even

we’ll be taking a closer look at one of
the most successful movie franchises in
movie history directed and co-written by
James Cameron the original Terminator
set the premise for the entire franchise
as a war between the artificial
intelligence network Skynet and the
human movement that opposes them the
resistance led by John Connor
despite this war taking place in the
future both Skynet and the resistance
used time travel in an attempt to
further their cause or prevent their
enemy from changing the past in order to
gain an upper hand in the future in each
Terminator installment different models
of a cyborg assassin named The
Terminator
are featured each newer model with
advanced abilities and strengths and
fewer weaknesses first created by Skynet
these terminators are used as soldiers
in their war but are also sent back in
time to try and eliminate John Connor
and the resistance from providing any
threat towards Skynet’s future world
domination however over time John Connor
and the resistance learned to use the
terminators to their advantage as well
by reprogramming certain models in order
to help protect themselves in the past
