we the Kings came from the name of your
high school I think or your middle
school where you met do you want to just
talk a bit about how you guys got
together three of us went to the same
elementary school which is you know so
we’ve known each other since we were
like like seven or eight years old I
used to have a rat tail that wasn’t
halfway down my back it was great
Danny his rat tail actually stepped on
it one day in elementary school that’s
how I met him that’s very interesting
I couldn’t got pulled some of it out
didn’t there it was nice of him he
bought me ice cream afterwards though
now a lot of your musics kind of like
about relationships and stuff like that
where do you get your inspiration for
the music I guess like the the
inspiration comes mostly from like our
friends and family and our hometown just
being on the road and hanging out with
each other everyday we’re not writing
the songs were like what’s gonna make
people you know happy and smile and
laugh and stuff like that just cuz we’re
like you know we enjoy like the good
parts of life rather than you know
crappy parts
was there ever a Juliet yeah they’re
like a few like nine Juliet’s nine cuz
it you know like accumulating all of our
you know relationships and stuff like
danny has a Juliet clothes her name ya
know if I didn’t name all of them live
here forever cuz I got a lot of love to
give
there’s no put me on the spot there’s
one named Megan sorry if there is a
megadose
now you guys are known as pranksters
funnyman you want to talk about kind of
your favorite pranks that you pulled the
lungs the way pretty much every time we
do like this silly string in the toilet
paper and stuff like that but you know
eventually that gets old we’ve actually
we put one band we put a lot of porno
magazines and taped them to their entire
van and and then the cops showed up but
we were just like we don’t even know who
did that you guys ever get pranked back
hey monday who was the opening band on
this tour they’re awesome
they actually lit a smoke bomb
underneath our bus and told us that our
bus was on fire and I was actually kind
of convinced for a little bit what
should we expect from we don’t ever
prank the crowd that’s not true I think
he was paying them but sisha sisha how
do you spell facetious if the question
oh let’s say it would just be sexy I can
sum it up in one word sweaty we devote a
lot of our time into making this set as
sweaty and sexy as possible
