comedian Dana Alexander continues to be
fun fearless and funny my first purse
last year that was a big move for a
tomboy cuz I used to just put everything
in my bra then I take it off at the end

we’re speaking with a comedian who just
wants you to know mcDonald’s has
chocolate marshmallow pause y’all so
what was it that made you want to get
into this industry dominated by males I
wanted to dominate them back I don’t
know a lot of people tell me I’m a
little bit too forceful to attract
demand or like Dana you want to attract
a man you have to show him the physical
signals do you ever find yourself making
with a guy you’re just like it never
occurred to me I was like a tomboy I
always hung out with guys and I was
actually probably about 10 months in and
I realized there’s kind of a stigma
against women I had to actually ask a
comic and be like is there some so like
this unwritten thing that says women
aren’t funny like I was not aware it’s
so easy for them these pretty girls and
go through life like the Gothic yeah
they like ass Mario Brothers one and
they just got the star they just go
through like Dan the favorite audience
day audiences give me the most love of
any audience but I have to say like I
really enjoy the challenge of I remember
one week I had to do George Brown
College which I don’t know if you know
this but have you ever seen the movie
Dangerous Minds badass kids won’t even
sit down playing pool in the corner like
the bathroom looks like an alley a girl
brought her baby to the show I was just
crazy ghetto like the most ghetto show
I’ve ever done and then right after that
I had to go to this other show for like
very politically correct lesbian types
and then on the weekend it was a room
full of cops you know so I’d like the
challenge of seeing what transitions and
what doesn’t and what I really like to
see
is how a lot of jokes doesn’t matter
everybody you know it’s their Universal
that’s that’s nice I thought a
six-year-old girl in high-heeled shoes I
like what you’re gonna let you at the
house like that she’s like shut up on
make my own money someone told me to ask
you what your favorite meal is I’m like
so over the skinny dudes are like a big
guy like big hairy masculine hood oh yes
all over the baby yes she said something
about guys coming out of prison yes it
is true that’s so embarrassing i know i
told her that they’re very cute I
remember I went by go to Kingston
sometimes which has eight penitentiaries
in it and that’s on the greyhound bus
these guys you tell they’re just coming
out of jail just very cute what’s
something that you know now that you
wishing you at the very beginning I
would be have a little more tact off
stage with my peers just didn’t have
that filter I started when I was 18 so
you see how 18 year old Zach they’re
friggin annoying you know the thanks is
gate having you yes thank you very much
