Daniel and this is I’m Patrick we’re
from 10 second
this band got together in a very natural
way you know from your kids you
skateboard you you want to be in a band
right so it we are just friends and they
didn’t matter if we were good or not we
just pretty much met through different
circumstances around the age of anywhere
from 14 to 16 about that
how would you guys describe your sound
well the main thing I think we think
about when we’re when we’re writing and
we’re playing together it’s just it’s
making good songs you can take a good
song and recreate it as a metal song or
as a folk song or a pop song or what
have you the sound that we get is kind
of just like a pop rock sort of sound
that just happens to what everybody
listens to normally we never really
thought about what we should sound like
it’s just what we sound like
and what would you say are your biggest
influences right now sometimes your
influences are in a way what’s happening
that you don’t like your influence to
work in another way this last year is
there’s been a lot of you know a lot of
that Autotune kind of music you know I
love it but I just really made sure that
we didn’t have any of that on a record
so I was wondering if you guys felt any
pressure to make your third record which
is called home town especially after the
success of without yourself in I mean in
the grand scheme of things hometowns
almost like our second record
k yourself in was sort of our coming out
we had very little pressure for that
album no one had any expectations at all
but yeah there’s definitely pressure to
follow up a record like that with
another good one we’ve kind of laid the
groundwork we have a fan base and we
don’t want to let them down
