while and are even celebrating the tenth
anniversary of their debut album hi I’m

out Warped Tour where we spoke with

how do you think the band’s music has
evolved at least since you’ve been in
the band I would personally like to
think that we’ve grown up a bit you know
just both both with the songwriting and
then also I think just evolution I kind
of like how the lyrics are written and
the approach to it that’s very important
to us
so do you want to talk about see the
most recent when we write we never sit
the room and say okay we need a song
that sounds like this or we need
something sounds like this we just go in
and like I said we see what’s sick so we
weren’t going for anything other than to
make a record filled with songs that we
like and it and that we were proud of
that’s what we did
would you tell us who you grew up
listening to and who you know who the
band grew up listening to idols and
icons I think one of the things that
makes the band work so well is that
there is everyone has a very eclectic
tastes like mark our drummer likes a
bunch of stuff I would never listen to
but I like a lot of stuff he would never
listen to me such as me I love Blake
Shelton dune oblique shoulders and
country singer yes is a song called
drink on it that I just it’s just a
great song we can drink
put her hands together
mark would never listen to that to where
vice versa I mean he listens to like
sometimes it was like rap Iraq and I
said that’s not for me but I think
that’s what makes the band work is that
we listen to such different stuff
it’s also the 10th anniversary of
totally friends and I know that you guys
were doing a 10th anniversary tour for
that in the fall is so you want to tell
us anything more that you’re doing for
that anniversary or what it’s like to
hit an anniversary like that well it
feels strange it or does it feel like
that much time has passed to me I still
feel like a kid you know just with a
beard we’re gonna do a tour in the fall
to where we’ll be playing that record
front-to-back fans all of that shortly
hopefully and as if not it just it
really hurt our egos
