us who Scala is and how it came to be we
were both classically trained pianist

your roles in regards to the choir I’m
the conductor and Steph is our arranged
for EM pianist how many girls are in
your choir
we have more than 200 singers we live in
Belgium small country but we play lots
of shows in other countries in Europe
and then also in America
the thing is the rotate all of all the
time I can have a show of scholar with
20 singers and the next day 20 other
singers you won’t see the difference how
do you guys go about choosing a song do
the girls have a say in it or do you
make that choice my responsibility is
the music that means that I need to
choose two songs the repertoire I make
the cover versions I cannot ask I like
200 girls each girl an opinion of you
know what is your most favorite song or
whatever that would be confusing and I
don’t think it would be a good idea but
of course if they don’t want to sing
something or the song is not working
they are final you know I’m step to take
and they decide in a way clearly on
whether we should do it or not
so what’s the difference between
creating an original track and doing the
cover track what’s the process cause the
process different freedom you just don’t
want to be an ordinary cover version of
ordinary coffee band like you have many
bands playing space like teen spirit
just in the same way as we validate but
that’s not very interesting for us we
always try to find a new dimension to
add on some
what has control
so you had a lot of success with the
cover song that you made from creep
because it was featured in the trailer
for the social network how has that
affected scallop the exposure that this
trailer got worldwide has made Scala
more much more an international ban
you cannot underestimate the power and
the exposure of a Hollywood movie and
