on the twilight movie soundtrack as well
as in the actual film so was wondering
what was your reaction to basically all
the attention that you’ve got and what
was it like to be involved in the film I
think the reaction was great I mean it
expanded my audience in a big way and
that that for me as magical I’ve been
playing music for a while and this is my
first sort of broad mass appeal sort of
break and I was just a co-writer which
is the interesting thing now they’re
actually listening to to me and my music
which is yeah you know I’m over the
means of illness when I should lie when
I should have tried it went on when I
handle fighting me I know that you’re
really good friends with Robert
Pattinson and obviously he’s gotten a
lot of attention since the movies of
course you as well with your music being
involved in it so I was wondering how
have you dealt with that just keep
playing you know it doesn’t really
affect my personal life in any way it
does that’s a lie I I’m now playing lots
of shows it’s now my job you know it’s
something that I I can really say I I’m
doing I am a musician resting your
how would you personally describe your
music probably wouldn’t i’d let someone
else try and it’s not that I don’t want
to be a specific genre if you only like
hip-hop you probably put me in a
specific genre but like if you musically
a sliver where then I I don’t know I
guess pop folk rock blues country I made
of everything yeah I don’t know when I
writes a song I find that each one is
quite different and it’s not a specific
genre I’m not trying to be pretentious
or not gonna be anything really it’s
just kind of what comes out can be done
when I should eladia went up another
your motherly lindsey is a songwriter
and she was actually the first one to
give you a guitar were you a natural
base zipping up the guitar and started
songwriting or was it something that you
really had to work at the work has now
started I feel like because I had more
time and I was able to sort of just
kind of pick up the guitar when I wanted
and now like I said it’s it’s something
that I’m actually doing on a daily basis
and so the work really begins now but I
know I say work it’sit’s music so it’s a
creative process and I suppose I suppose
it’s trying it’s difficult at times oh
and what do you love most about making
music to be able to sort of have an
emotion and and then be able to write a
song and then not normally feel that
emotion until you play that song again
you know that’s pretty broad but say I
feel really crappy i can write it down
and i feel better and then i can play it
and then i’ll just feel crappy when i
played this up
