this inspirational band
can you give us a bit of your
inspirations for this band we look like
bands some bands more than others like I
choose the Beatles over the rolling
stones but we just like good songs yeah
I could catch your pop rock songs you
know we’re kind of constricted in the
way we write songs due to the makeup of
the band so their songs are simple and
the arrangements kind of simple but you
know they’re uplifting songs we’re
inspired by each other and so we write
inspirational music just organically and
kinda by default and what exactly is the
process of songwriting how does it work
with you guys some experiences yeah Rory
has perfect pitch or absolute pitch so
and both perfect and absolute pitch yeah
yes is amazing town which is very rare
you know under one percent of the
world’s population but it all comes
organically to it so can you tell us how
the band evolved from its beginnings up
until today when did you first start
first of all I pro 2006 we just had the
one song and we their first gig we went
and played that three times March of
2007 that’s right so it took us a year
to stand out yeah I mean the first six
months of the group getting together was
a shambles there was April through
October 2006 was good know where
everybody was learning their instruments
right because none of them had previous
experience the trike suffer Rory but
yeah there was a lot of tantrums
including meet with all stormed out at
least once I’m not gonna be gay I’m not
going to be gagged no I’m gonna ba yeah
but you know once we sort of hit that
first note and we struck a a musical
relationship if you like um bang yeah
they got it they got me understood and
is what so good about music see it
forces people who have that inner world
it forces them to listen to other people
when the band started we did we never
dreamed we’d be touring overseas once
let alone twice and in the space and in
four years within four years of us even
forming do you guys have some goals that
you want to reach what’s the next step
let’s just get through this tour first I
have a take a break for a couple of
weeks and straight back into it well
