welcome to watchmojo.com i’m your host
leila tonight we’re meeting of the
firstborn son a band that unleashes
blistering breakdowns and metallic
fretwork to talk a bit about their debut
EP i’m kurt and i played bass i’m mike i
played guitar i’m robin i also play
guitar i’m eric and i play drums and
Jamie and I sing why did you choose to
do not a hit single not a long album
well we just wanted to get you know some
of our stuff out there and we don’t want
a full-length up when we just want to
get right to the point you know build a
fan base so we can prepare for our next
release
what’s the difference between metal and
hardcore breakdowns they can be
technical at the same time you know it’s
just something that you can rock out you
know a little bit heavier than metal
would be driving just really driving
riffs and yeah lots of energy to I think
what it is is like there’s no really
different so everybody has a different
take on hardcore and metal
the biggest servants to me would be the
moshpit it’s a lot safer although it
looks ridiculous nobody’s getting hurt
and that’s good what’s like the
blueprint for metal I mean it can always
be setting yourselves apart you have to
sort of follow up Lou print what are
some of the challenges you’re facing as
a start-up finding your own style is
more or less coming up and doing it no
it was like oh yeah walk for that before
other bands to that I wouldn’t really
say that there are blueprints for for
metal there are so many different kinds
guess a lot of bands kind of follow
similar patterns that’s it thanks a lot
guys thank you very much thank you
