this internet celebrity burst onto the
scene in 2009 hi I’m Rebecca Brayton and
welcome to watchmojo.com and today we’re
speaking with Justin Bieber about the
internet and how he foresees his
evolution as an artist now you’re part
of I guess what they call the internet
generation and obviously you’ve managed
to make it work for you how do you think
that the Internet can help you in future
because I have so much many fans online
now it it’s definitely gonna help me be
able to promote stuff like so easily I
can just put something on YouTube and it
just blows up
[Music]
the Internet’s not just Canadian not
just American it’s worldwide such a
great outlet to have international fans
like I have fans in Brazil and like
Austria and like little places that I’ve
like never heard of before
[Music]
do you have any tips for making a really
great YouTube video whatever I just pull
me I don’t know how I just got
discovered I put up this a crappiest
video if your singer whatever you just
got to put it up I mean and I just hope
for the best
definitely you just got to tag the video
right daddy fix me and just shake me til
you wake me from this bad what kind of
music was being played at your house
when you were growing up what did you
like listening to I grew up listening to
a lot of older stuff like boys to men
and like Stevie Wonder and Michael
Jackson I actually took it real hard
with Michael Jackson past he was an
inspiration to so many people including
uh sure but his legend lives on I just
love his music along with um just old
soul music it’s just it’s just awesome
what is your favorite song to sing
favorite song to sing
probably you got a bad boy sure yeah
it’s pretty fun to sing you get you get
it but when you made the day with
diaphragm whoo that’s all Jack and
what’s your favorite song that isn’t
Arne be probably like sweet child of
mine or something like that
[Music]
now I just wanted to clear up the rumor
that dead and here I’m breathing um I’m
not a ghost I have my first love
it was definitely rumors saying I was
dead that I killed myself but I’m here
how do you react to a rumor like that
there’s so many stupid rumors that come
out like supposably Miley Cyrus was dead
a month ago and and so many other people
um it’s just people don’t believe it
unless you see it for yourself
[Music]
how do you see yourself evolving as an
artist as you get older I mean I’m I’m
gonna get taller and girl mustache and
stuff
[Music]
I actually just did a movie with Nick
Cannon produced it
it’s called schoolgirls it’s going to be
airing on Nickelodeon
[Applause]
I just look forward to acting
indefinitely other stuff you’re one of
those triple threats yeah
[Music]
thank you very much thank you very much
for having me
