and Dave Marciano better known as the
duo’s so how did the do ops form Dave
had my back in a fight at a bar somebody
tried to break a bottle over my head it
was that intimate there and also we met
at University are you guys trained
musically me not I mean I’ve always been
in bands and always performed musically
but not anything traditionally training
now I went to an all-boys choir school
you know what you know what I bet you
shut up if you take away two things from
the show tonight I hope it be laughter
and this is the message god bless you
went to acquire school in Toronto for
four years when I was a kid during
elementary school friend like grades 3
to 6 took a little bit of piano lessons
a little bit of guitar lessons that kind
of stuff and then I was like cool busy
lessons absolutely suck and they’re
boring and so I let’s talk about singing
comedy you know you got two things to do
there do you want to just talk about the
it’s very hard and we’re extraordinarily
talented when we first started
performing we could actually hear people
in the audience booing know there’s a
good car right but I think the thing
that separates us is that we could
actually sing I mean I’ve seen musical
comedy of myself that they can’t play
guitar sing and they can’t carry a tune
but they’re doing musical comedy and
it’s just why why why everybody loves a
good old-fashioned hurtin fighting
drinking punch and bleedin country in
Western song who doesn’t this is none of
those actually but that thank you you
guys are Italian what happened in your
childhood that kind of made you want to
mock it I guess growing up as a
first-generation Canadian and still
having our parents talk about this old
country that they existed so much of and
talk about so highly they only know it
from the 60s so their mentality is from
there you know like so it’s kind of
funny seeing them trying to hold on to
that but still living in a modern world
our parents taught us an English Italian
hybrid bullshitting really doesn’t exist
yeah what song gets the biggest crowd
reaction we have a song called crazy
bush you know I really need it’s not
about George Bush I think it’s so stupid
and it’s funny about how much we love a
big Bush right and it’s so not what is
in vogue right now right yes there are
people that are growing up right now
that don’t know women are supposed to
have pubic hair estheticians must hate
us for that something like you’re taking
away my business and it’s gone though I
just like knowing I’m with a woman yeah
