their intensity never wavers and they
continue to put out wicked metalcore
tracks to the masses hi I’m Rebecca
Brayton and welcome to watchmojo.com and
we got the chance to check out Warped
Tour and speak with Bring Me The Horizon
we like to start with kind of the origin
story of the Bands that we interview so
why don’t you tell us how bring with her
resin originated
me and Matt Matt our drummer basically
kind of like we were friends for a good
while we went kind of went off into
separate colleges matt met him and the
guy called curtis and started talking
like i’d want to make it like a
dillinger escape style kind of band and
all this stuff and asked me to sing this
is the most boring story live here
tell us kind of influences idols that
kind of thing if I’m going to the eyes
you when I first got into late rock and
shit it were like the biscuit and Linkin
Park and got into glass jar and kind of
started getting into more of that kind
of like post-hardcore kind of stuff and
from there it kind of went on into
hardcore it was always a really good
like a hardcore scene in Sheffield where
we from
cannot introduce each other it’s like he
introduced me and Matt somehow we kind
of introduced them to hardcore and start
bringing to show so it was kind of cool
how do you feel about genres are you
kind of anti pigeonholing yourself
there’s a need for genres in a sense of
like what kind of band is that a metal
band kind of as I brought my department
whatever but when people take it forever
the night it’s just stupid like people
refer to as his deaf core or I and
everyone a lot of people take all these
other bands drunk core is gay it’s like
if you want to know what a band sounds
like it’s gonna listen to him if you
like metal one checking right now I mean
how do you feel that your music has kind
of progressed and evolved since you
started it like we used to go to shows
and we’d be like the kid do like motion
and like singing along so we just wrote
songs where we thought we play this but
people mosh to it but then now with
we’ve actually writing songs our musics
good though
the ration has gone from bad to good
well thanks very much guys just
