hey mojo holux welcome to inside
WatchMojo episode 2
as you can see ash is not here this week
he is at a conference in Miami
Conference my but but anyway he will be
back next week to discuss the feedback
that you guys had for last week’s show
as well as our newest pilot what’s
happened in Hollywood and then in two
weeks our colleague Angela will be on to
discuss topics and WatchMojo news and
outline some changes that we will be
making to those shows so if you watch
our clips obviously you know me and you
know Dan but we will soon be adding
someone to the vo mix and so we wanted
to introduce him to you so you wouldn’t
be super surprised Matt would you like
to introduce yourself to the nice people
yeah well like she said my name is Matt
I started with WatchMojo in late March
early April I think you probably
wouldn’t remember that right yes it was
it was a quiet entrance ah
but yeah basically I work with the
freelancing team so all the freelancer
writers I email them make sure they’re
on top of their work they have any
questions all that sort of stuff and be
a hard-ass um I try to be but I don’t
think it works too much they probably
see like the mustache on my avatar
picture and that just kills it ah
so yeah I do that and I also work on our
top secret meetings so that’s that’s my
job here in to HQ let me do a little
lightening round for you Oh favorite
band uh we Came As Romans you guys won’t
know that ah famous avorite movie ah
Goodfellas TV show Walking Dead song Oh
Pass oh yes this is too hard board game
uh monopoly monopoly it’s long but yeah
you know like I’m good so I don’t mind
uh hey I’m Adam all the properties
alright so you are going to be you
understand how that game was anyway
you’re gonna be helping me and Dan with
voiceover yes yes all right
yeah because it’s getting to be a bitch
too much so I hear um actually since you
guys do it so much I’m a little worried
I might lose my voice right so any tips
for that kind of thing well water yeah
lots of water stay hydrated is good uh
I’ve never lost my voice for
overexertion related reasons good but it
does get scratchy so I mean I recommend
not doing too many in a row
keeping it warmed up maybe a little tea
with some lemon I don’t know not lemon
lemon is bad honey I mean honey sweet
honey yeah uh you know what I’m just
gonna call Steven Tyler and ask him what
he does because he’s still got his voice
after all these years of screaming and I
don’t there you go
he’s on speed dial on so yeah yeah we’re
like this anyway um will you be sticking
to any specific categories in terms of
you I believe so yeah as you guys know
Dan’s pretty much in charge of the video
games Rebecca does a lot of the movies
and TV or all the movies and TV pretty
much so I’m gonna be focusing on the
music aspect so artists songs
miscellaneous music type things yeah
pretty cool yeah so you mentioned that
you work with the freelancers and part
of your role there is to basically live
on the suggesting correct yes um while
we’re on that topic just a few tips for
all you people who who like to suggest
things to um make sure the topic hasn’t
already been suggested is because when
we’re rifling through our suggests pages
maybe like five six sometimes more than
that suggests pages for the same topic
and it just kind of muddled things up so
it’s definitely more than it’s more
likely to get made if there’s one
suggest page that has a lot of votes
yeses several suggest pages that all
have like a few votes yeah we like big
numbers on the page so keep that in mind
if you do suggest a page that hasn’t
been already suggested make sure it’s
nice and populated so put some entries
in there put your favorite movies or
what-have-you whatever the topic is and
a lot of people email suggestions to
which we’re totally on board with just
be sure to include a suggest page than
you do so
and that makes things a lot simpler for
us out you know and it’ll get your
things made faster but anyway speaking
of the suggest page we have some
suggestions this week that we need some
help we do yes you top ten badass female
movie characters top 10 sexy movie
foreign exchange students and top 10
James Bond moments I think you had
mentioned to me that for the sexy movie
foreign exchange students Nadia from
American PI’s like here and then
everybody else too irrelevant not right
um do you have any suggestions that
you’re working on that are kind of close
to your heart or your stomach that’s the
case maybe
well one yes I see what you did there
one call my attention it’s maybe like
second favorite food pizza but what
makes a pizza is the toppings right so
top-ten pizza toppings that’s what we
need help right so we’re talking like
pepperoni
you know mushroom yes bacon on the type
not like leglock Warriors they’re all
exactly yeah
did you like coin can’t say I’m a fan I
never actually haven’t so I like to make
fun of it but I actually um what is your
favorite pizza topping bacon hands-down
good choice
yeah yeah you yeah I like big I always
eat the bacon off the pizza yeah
definitely and if there’s like pepperoni
on top you know the vid they get all
crispy yeah yeah yeah I’m getting really
hungry
like there’s a lot I’m uh you know I
picked that out to you but yeah so you
know I’m sort of neat I like that um
pizza I agree
speaking of unhealthy food my idea this
for my suggestion this week is ice cream
flavors good one which yeah it’s MN yeah
favorite flavor whoa anything chocolate
but I like chocolate with crap in it so
like brown it doesn’t sound appealing no
I know like brownies okay caramel fudge
whatever you want
well no not whatever you want a brownie
AB brownies is tops Fisher yeah brownies
a good one yeah yeah uh chocolate is
always classic but I’m
I’m really into the chocolate chip
cookie dough right now you know like
half baked but the has brownies I tend
to eat around the brownie even to get to
the chocolate well Oh your breath what
sounds inappropriate anyway uh so it’s
kind of ironic that we’re talking about
unhealthy food yeah last week we asked
you guys for our latest contest to send
us your New Year’s resolutions and you
know my New Year’s resolution is to eat
healthier I think everybody’s is its
employment anyway I’m with stuff yeah
actually I haven’t been doing a lot of
that lately but anyway so we had some
great submissions as we always do but
there can only be one winner well in
this case there can actually be nine
winners because we’re gonna weigh nine
mojo bags in honor of our ninth
anniversary which is January 23rd which
I believe is today so congratulations to
Twitter users George hopper Amiri jordan
collins joshua neil tim frost Rachel or
Riggle miki 23 alex vasilenko and wade
evans music email us at contest at
watchmojo.com to claim your prize and
send us your shipping information it’s

unfortunate yes um so we have another
contest this week and it is Matt central
it’ll be the first contest where no one
enters oh well yeah I dare you guys to
not let that be the case anyway uh matt
has already appeared in to watch mode
over to this one be the first person on
Twitter to name those two videos and you
will win something good good this is
like a tough one um so let’s stick with
the hashtag WM question
and if you want to chat on Twitter we’re
both on Twitter so you catch me at
Rebecca Brayton and yeah I was like
easier name that’s fact
and we’ve got at mat ch underscore so
that’s a hint that if you don’t like the
montréal Canadiens Oh problem I tweet
about other things uh it’s movies TV but
yeah the hours from 7 through 10 um
it’s hockey absolutely yeah anyway I
will see you next week thanks for
watching
