new staffer that comes on the show is
subjected to my patented lightning round
which is not on the papers makeup on the

growth show so we always ask everyone
kind of how they found watchmojo and
keen to join company and apply for a job
so how did that go for you well the
story goes I had a few colleagues from
from university that were working here
and I got a little recommendation from
our cameraman Adrian that helped me
along yep so and and so I actually found
the job posting on craigslist fed up
Craigslist I can’t point a and the rest
is history yeah well there you go yeah
yay group i interviewed with asha
saturday he must have not hated me haha
well I should have to Terrance Smith
yeah well I don’t now he hates me but I
interviewed you true so um everyone’s
job kind of evolved very quickly but
what was your job when you started and
hasn’t had changed um well I started
right away cutting a voiceover cutting
audio and yeah I pretty much been just
getting better at that since I started
working here and then I also helped
gather footage we all sort of do that of
the team and then more recently I’ve
been managing some new freelancers and I
hope to get on the voice-over team as
well oh yes yes he heard me how bad I am
in the raw footage and said I can do
this yeah watch over becca maybe i’ll be
the one up there it’s talking about in
the comments i meant really over though
anyway
so is there anything about voiceover
cutting that the audience would be
priceless well they probably would be
surprised to hear my life every five
seconds when you screw up I don’t know
what you’re talking yeah but they
probably would not expect it to be as
difficult as it is the cutting are you
cutting and the voice-over itself yeah
well sometimes I how many scripts do you
think you’ve read in like the history of
WM cuz I’ve cut like over like 800
projects and still vendor so that’s like
I’m gonna say I don’t even want a
ballpark about 4,000 I’ve no idea my
voice is going so anyway I’m not good at
math you do so I should be waiting yeah
that’s why we work here so you’re also
the de facto office punching bag for
some reason the moral issues but uh in
the shortcut series you’ve seen like
we’ve done a couple of comedy skits like
yay hockey he’s the one um how does it
make you feel to be the office punching
bag that’s kind of fun I kind of like it
Oh No maybe that’s messed up but it’s
every office needs their own punching
bag and maybe the Carmichael hospital
recycle that bad energy to worth you
guys someday great yeah see you in the
playoffs buddy so as we mentioned you’re
also big into the music side of things
um and ash who has lots of ideas has
also mentioned in the mess the potential
for a watchmojo music label now let’s
say you were involved in that like what
what is your vision for something like
that well I’ve always liked been
interested in like music releases were
like record companies and stuff like
that so if I could take that on myself
then I would really like to like you
know cultivate like a team you know
artists and producers and stuff and like
really I don’t know forge a sound i
guess but i’m not sure if that’s what
ash has in mind but it would be cool to
incorporate some of the mojo holics
music into that because i know we get
you know some requests from people that
are like you maybe use this music in
your video or something like that so we
could blend those two ideas together zon
housing yeah okay now to awkwardly segue
into the next section of the show we
