of the pearl
well pearls date back to 100 BC only
royalty was allowed to wear pearls not
the common person and throughout history
they’ve been very important for example
Cleopatra wagered mark-anthony
that she could feed him the most
expensive meal that he’s ever had and
she took one of her pearls and she
dissolved it in a glass of wine and had
him drink it Cartier the famous Cartier
bought his building on Fifth Avenue in
New York with one strand of pearls
symbolism also how it represents wisdom
and good fortune you’re already in
purity right so because it is a perfect
gem it was called the perfect gem
because it’s unaltered it’s as beautiful
