How to Make a Homemade Big Mac Burger

two all-beef patties special sauce
lettuce cheese pickles onions on a
sesame-seed bun’ hi I’m Rebecca Brayton
and welcome to watchmojo.com and today
we’ll be honoring an American icon by
showing you our take on the McDonald’s
Big Mac for the burger you’ll need two
tablespoons of Thousand Island dressing
one teaspoon of sweet pickle relish lean
ground beef sesame seed topped hamburger
buns you’ll need twice as many bottoms
as tops shredded iceberg lettuce
American cheese minced sweet onion and
dill pickle slices to start the special
sauce mixed together the Thousand Island
dressing and relish in a small bowl and
set it aside
now shape your beef into patties for
each burger you make you’ll need to and
then season it with salt and pepper
you
you can either make a full-size
hamburger and for that you’ll need a
four inch wide patty or you can make
smaller sliders and for those you can
make them about half the size of a
regular patty
on the stovetop heat a small amount of
oil in a frying pan over medium heat
once that’s hot add your patties and
make sure to keep them flat with a metal
spatula these should cook for about four
minutes or until all the red has turned
brown
once your 4 minutes are up flip them
over and cook them for another minute on
the other side
while the burgers are finishing move
them to one side of the pen and toast
the buns in the burger juices
now for assembly take one of the bottom
halves and top that with one tablespoon
of the dressing then add half the
lettuce one slice of cheese and a burger
patty
now add your other bottom bun and spread
the rest of the dressing on that now add
the onions the rest of the lettuce
pickle slices and of course another all
beef patty cover that with your sesame
seed bun and you’re good to go
the Big Mac was introduced by McDonald’s
to the American public in 1968 and it
has since gone on to redefine fast-food
