How To Make A Bombay Sapphire Collins Cocktail

I’m yoga with watchmojo.com and today
I’m talking to master mixologist Merlin
Griffiths about this season’s best
cocktail creations so more than what is
your favorite drink for this season this
summer I think Sony of sapphire
colleagues and what’s really important
there is making it with fresh lemon
juice and you can do a sapphire
cosmopolitan this gives you a much
richer flavor I think because you’ve got
your botanical flavors coming through
there I think the real key for me no
don’t forget to add the fresh line we
could just maybe leave off with you
showing us the tricks of the trade of
your favorite drink these are our
college yes why not I’ve a pleasure so
now we start by pouring in a sensible
measure now I’m not going to talk to you
in exact quantities here the flavor is
really up to you so I want here a
sensible measure I have about two ounces
of bombay sapphire in there to that now
I’m going to add the juice of half a
fresh lemon we give that a great squeeze
there we go to that I’m adding a little
sugar syrup although as I say you can
use two teaspoons of powdered sugar or
caster sugar that’s about half an ounce
I’m putting in there but again you can
do it a taste if you wanted a little
sweeter add more little more sour add
more lemon juice I’m now going to give
that a stir just to bring our flavors
together and now lots of ice the more
ice the better it chills your drink
faster and keeps it a lot colder for
longer fill to the brim with ice their
ideal and now just to top it off
a little splash of Club long cool
refreshing you can feel the summer units
already I mean this is wonderful lemons
in their accent in the Spanish lemon
peels in Bombay Sapphire it’s so simple
lemon wedge garnish I should put a stir
in there why not if wallah the Sapphire
Collins
