just because you’re driving a small card
doesn’t mean you have to feel
claustrophobic hi I’m Rebecca Brayton
and welcome to watchmojo.com and today
we’ll be introducing the Honda concept
peanut first we’ll start by having you
introduce us to peanut peanut personal
neo urban transport in a nutshell ah
it’s basically a urban commuter you know
urban commuters have become a cheap car
a small car a dangerous car you know
it’s all those things we step back and
looked at what you know what could we do
that’s really fun but also safe but also
you can carry a lot of things most of
the problem with a really really small
cars is you can take yourself and maybe
one other but you can’t really carry
anything peanut has a central driving
position and because of that we’ve added
the two seats kind of angled behind him
so you can carry at least three people
with the driver or you can fold down a
seating of a baby seat you can pull the
seat out we actually have the rear seats
are removable the motors in the back so
because of that we’ve opened up the
front with glass all the way to the
bottom so that in the urban environment
can have this driving experience of
feeling one with the road almost what
elements make this car safer than its
small car counterparts the first one is
if you’re in the center you have a lot
of crust on each side of you right away
you’re much safer and then the
visibility you’re able to view panoramic
around you there’s no engine in the
front so you can build structure around
crash instead of letting the engine take
care of that do you see this car making
it to the market anytime soon what we’d
like to do is take this concept and
evolve it into a real go so yeah I mean
anything Honda does we’re not doing it
just that as as far as school it’s more
what can we do with this if we make this
its resonated quite a bit internally the
first thing everybody says is I want to
drive it thank you very much thank you
