Good Game Criteria – Graphics Part 2

graphics are going to become
particularly noteworthy over the next
generation with the advent of
high-definition television and the next
generations of consoles now graphics do
do a lot to sort of enhance the feeling
and sort of get you into a game but as I
said before they are not everything now
you’re going to hear a lot of fancy
terms probably thrown around over the
next little while when it comes to
next-generation games things like a
garage shading and and I don’t know a
normal mapping and there’s a lot of sort
of new techniques used to sort of
improve the graphic effective of games
but you see the example of the Nintendo
Wii which really not be graphically that
impressive at all but Nintendo is
focused more so on the gameplay in that
case and though Sony’s go on the exact
opposite with the playstation 3 and
really focus heavily on graphics you are
seeing a lot in recent polls that people
are actually leaning towards the
nintendo because a lot of people number
one don’t have high-definition
televisions to enjoy the visuals the
playstation 3 will provide and a lot of
people don’t want to spend the money on
a system just because the graphics
though there will be good titles but
because primarily the graphics are gonna
be a cut above
