Golf Tips – How To Hit Pitch Shots

hi I’m PGA member Jay golden and welcome
to watchmojo.com today I’m going to talk
about pitch shots how great would it be
if you were excellent at pizza you miss
a green you’re 30 feet off the green or
20 yards off the green or on a par 5 50
yards off the green if you could get
those close to the pin and make the putt
consistently how many strokes would that
take off your score the number one
fundamental in pitch shots which I see a
majority of people make mistakes and
that is in their address position their
hands are either even with or behind the
ball actually the shaft should be
pointing towards a target with the butt
end of the club two or three inches to
the left of the ball which will make it
easier to make a descending blow to take
a divot after you hit which is so
important for solid contact the most
important thing is to make consistent
solid contact because if you do then you
could just think about the distance that
you want to hit the ball and you don’t
have to think about contact teach your
wedge to talk you’ll take a lot of
strokes off your game
