Golf Tips – How To Hit More Accurate Iron Shots

hi I’m PGA member Jay golden and welcome
to watchmojo.com today I’m going to talk
about hitting accurate iron shots start
out taking your address position holding
the club fully taking your full stance
but hitting the ball a very short
distance and I mean a short distance
like 30 feet take your stance address
position and hit that ball 30 feet not
easy you’re going to have to make small
manipulations with your hand position
with your ball position with your head
position you’re going to make a lot of
small changes to be able to do that but
you’re going to find it and when you do
hit it 60 feet straight and once you do
hit it 90 feet hit it 50-yard hit it 100
yards hit 150 yard and if you’re
unsuccessful at a certain length of
backswing demote yourself if you can’t
do it at 150 yards go back to 100 yards
and feel it and learn it and then go
back a little further and hit the ball a
little harder the trick to hitting
accurate iron shots is to learn how to
hit them very short distances very short
if you can’t hit it short straight you
can’t hit it long straight start small
