hi my name is Nick Robinson welcome to
watchmojo.com you can find me with other
recipe ideas on Anna carts calm and
today i challenge my good friend David
Hoffman haim it has these amazing
gluten-free pizza crusts that are new on
the market to come up with some recipe
ideas that would meet my wellness
parameters which means they have to be
gluten-free which we know they are soy
free dairy free processed food free but
the most important thing when you’re
cooking is it’s got to be delicious and
so today he’s showing us how to make
some spiced flatbreads you can use as
appetizers so a lot people like to make
these little mini pizzas great for kids
great for snacks when you come home at
the end of the day kind of thing so
we’ve put together some three different
blends and the first one here is a sumac
dekha and pistachio blend the second one
is a Indian blend mode most likely that
you can use just to rub in and the third
one is a North African blend is most
closely identified with like a Moroccan
type of spice blend which is really nice
and what’s beautiful about is that the
crusts are kind of neutral so the
flavors really get in there when they’re
cooked we’re gonna have to make these
spices actually stick to the pizza
that’s right you got to use a little bit
of oil and we’ve chosen to the first one
is just your basic virgin olive oil and
the second one which is my favorite is
coconut oil which is extremely good for
you it’s now being touted as the top
health oil available in the market I
even put it on my skin it’s so good so
let’s get cooking absolutely so don’t
blink because this recipe is so simple
you might miss it so it’s two steps we
put on the oil we put on the spices I’m
going to start with the coconut oil
David was nice enough to give me this
job I’m putting the coconut oil on the
first one
and then we’re going to use the olive
oil for the other to brush it on the top
and the second one perfect dave is gonna
show us how a pro okay rubs spice onto
the pizzas absolutely the first one is
which one we’re going to do the sumac
dekha and pistachio all right hit it
okay bring this one over here should we
get a nice coating of it and then we’re
just gonna rub it in to the crust get
the flavors in there is there such a
thing as too much putting these this rub
on not really it just depends how much
you know spice you like right let’s do
the second one we’re going to do the
curry can we want to do with the coconut
or with the olive oil let’s try with the
coconut yeah curry coconut sounds really
good to like it with you so you don’t
really need that much but this is a good
coating at all this one this is the
North African blend coffee blends got a
little bit of bad bezel ships in it as
well I’m so excited to actually try that
one I’ve never tried to move good this
is gonna be delicious alright so they’re
done they’re already done that fast
we’ve already preheated our oven to 475
degrees they’re going to go into how
much time 10 minutes so 10 minutes and
they go right on the rack we don’t even
need a plate alright let’s take these
over
you
you
so now our appetizers are ready but they
were super fast to make and we’re
serving now with an organic chemist but
what else could we serve these with you
can make them with guacamole you can
serve them with any other kind of dip
that you might want to use onion dip etc
I guess for some other recipe ideas
people can go to spice market dot CA for
lots of recipe ideas now these are small
ones when they come in big sizes you can
do the same thing with the larger-size
crust and I can’t wait to try these so
thank you so much for watching
