hi my name is Neil from neo corrida
fashion blog and today we’re here at the
Delano design boutique and we’re going
to show you how to create your Chanel
inspired looks to some of you who may
not know in 1920
Gabrielle Coco Chanel was the first
designer who created loose clothing for
women she worked a lot with Jersey
fabrics which traditionally were used
for men’s underwear the fit was very
relaxed and loose which was the complete
opposite to the stiff corseted look of
the time we all know about Gabrielle’s
signature perfume Chanel number 5 she is
also known for her classic wardrobe
staples like little black dress cardigan
jacket stylish boxy suits and women’s
trousers
Gabrielle Coco Chanel once said
innovation one cannot be innovating
forever I want to create classics and
that is exactly what she did when she
created the little black dress in 1926
for our first look we’ve picked this
little black dress with simple lines
that define the body when you wear it it
is always fun to play with accessories
we decided to throw on this long pearl
necklace with a white flower detail we
added a bright pop of color with this
Vermillion hat and quilted clutch and we
finished the whole outfit with this
black sweat wedges with a zip at the
back
for our second look we have picked this
elegant black and white pairing we
tagged in the actual chiffon blouse into
this high-waisted sweat shorts to add in
some extra texture and to slightly
toughen up the look also we added up the
fur color as another element of glam and
cheek and to complete this ensemble we
threw on this white pearl necklace Coco
Chanel loved to add and mix a lot of
accessories in her outfits
especially pearls this look is perfect
for a night out and the red lipstick is
a must this last look is one of my
favorites because of the rich color
combination and layers of accessories I
just love how this jet-black fur color
looks against the creamy beige coat it
screams glamour it is important to
choose the right accessories because
they will definitely change the outfit
we have picked black because it was the
color that Chanel laughs to work with
like this black plated color was chunky
animal chains it can look beautiful with
anything and we have picked this
matching black fur leg warmers to
complete the whole look effortless but
polished I’d like to thank Elise from
Delano design for sitting on the looks
and we hope that this looks have
inspired you to create your very own
Coco Chanel look
