so where do you see yourself as an
up-and-coming designer being young
moving forward in a successful direction
where is simple and the worry of
classical styles always cuz I don’t
found out the trendy things joined with
Andre telleo here at Montreal Fashion
Week it’s such such a great thing that
you’re doing for up-and-coming designers
how long have you done this for and why
did you choose to attach tell you such a
great cause this is our second year
doing this and we so strongly believe in
Quebec talent and fashion and the
industry has way too much negativity and
we just want to turn things around and
show people and show the world that we
have a lot of created in Quebec so join
with Quinn here another runner up in the
telleo collection here at Fashion Week
so what was the interesting thing about
picking different fabrics that you were
given was it a bit of a challenge having
you know options and your fabrics and
having to create something so
magnificent on not really it was I don’t
know I usually I was definitely drawn to
like the fabric that I chose just
because it’s just so beautiful in the
drape and just the texture and it was
always like nice to work within certain
limitations because forces you to be a
bit more creative and kind of like come
up with like your own take on you know
the fabrics for whatever constraints are
and within the competition so what’s
such a pleasure to talk to you when I
see I see a star in your eye so join

winner tonight with telleo here at
Fashion Week so Maria where do you see
that the collection coming from I got
the idea was maybe a little bit medieval
vintage there’s a little gothic twist of
course with a hood where did the
inspiration of the collection come from
that you design for this evening well
the inspiration came from mostly
everywhere everything I’ve seen I
traveled but mostly from Canada
it’s cool to kinda like the winter and
every one of those things that’s cold so
I did the hood all puffy and the sleeves
puffy to make it more look warm you know
a comfortable so success obviously comes
from deep down being true to yourself
and of course that’s going to move you
up to success in the sky
