rainfall than the rest of the Emerald
Isle hi I’m Rebecca Brayton and welcome

checking out the climate in Dublin
temperatures in Dublin are moderate
year-round which is typical of its
temperate maritime climate Ireland is
typically known as a rainy country
however its capital city receives half
as much precipitation as the western
part of the country summer days can be
unusually long in contrast to the short
days of the winter months May and June
feature the most daylight
sometimes with days as long as 17 hours
December features the year’s shortest
day average temperatures in the summer
months of July and August
peak at 68 degrees Fahrenheit or 20
degrees Celsius winter months see an
average temperature of 42 degrees
Fahrenheit or 6 degrees Celsius
precipitation in winter is normally
limited to rain it is not unusual for a
sunny day in Dublin to quickly cloud
over so be sure to keep that in mind
when traveling to this Emerald City
