checking out a rare collection with
coral design we’re gonna join Maria
almond with the exotic and futuristic
collection of jewelry let’s join her
right now for an intellectual insight
could you elaborate where your
collection came from for this year this
year my intention came of waterfalls is
a cascade of necklaces layers a lot of
layers different stones I only work with
natural stones silver and gold the name
of the collection is meadow that is an
Indian name for waterfall from Venezuela
that is called Alto on hill oh wow yes
is it always waterfall actually in the
world looking into the collection right
now with coral here we’re gonna look at
these two wonderful models and could you
elaborate the design concept that went
into them because they’re they’re very
different we’ve got the Blues here and
then the very transparent collection
you’ve designed is waterfall this is a
cascade of rock crystals and a sterling
silver and here we have saw the light
that is a beautiful blue stone it’s a
natural stone and it’s a stone from
Bolivia so it’s very like an organic
influence parts of nature that I think
are very key and important to every
strategy in your design definitely I
find that there’s so many beautiful
natural gemstones that most of the
people don’t even know about we just
concentrated in the four major stones
so having elaboration here at corals
concept we’re gonna look at something
very different where we’ve got the tiger
eye the collection that’s got more a bit
of a punch of color this collection is
the Collis the the collection is
Victoria and I love I find that this is
very warm
sorry this is pyrite the refine is a
fantastic stone actually when the
Spanish conquerors they thought that it
was gold and so what is the biggest
challenge for you when designing
jewellery really don’t find any
challenge I find that it is a passion I
love it I love my work and I think that
you can see it on the models today well
thank you so much Maria it’s been a
pleasure a nice insight on coral which
you’re gonna see a whole lot more of in
the future and thank you for watching
